This is a list of questions we are often asked about furniture rental. If you have any questions, take a look through this list and you may find what you need to know.


General Questions

  • We require plenty of notice prior to undertaking a delivery. Orders require scheduling and packing.

    A comprehensive inventory lists on this website helps to make selection simple.

    HousePak does not offer interior design styling or house staging services. Our offer is to provide contemporary, functional furniture and appliances to meet your short term needs. All items will be subject to availability.

    Longer lead times enable us to supply photos of items if required.

    If you need something that does not appear on our standard inventory lists, contact us and we will advise on its availability and price.

  • The items shown on our website are examples only. We have a wide range of furniture in different styles, and our inventory is constantly growing. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know and we will do all we can to meet your needs.

  • Our minimum rental period is four weeks. If you wish, you can have furniture for a shorter period but you will have to pay for four weeks rental.

  • Due to the high costs of the contract furniture movers, HousePak does not rent single items or undertake very small orders. HousePak rentals are for a group of different furniture and appliance items put together into a complete total package.

    HousePak does not rent just a bed for a short or long term period.

    Items can’t be collected from our warehouse to save your delivery/collection costs. HousePak is a service business providing installation as well as the rental of the items.

  • Generally, we require a few weeks notice prior to delivery but we will do all we can if you have an emergency and we have the capacity to undertake your order.

  • We deliver during normal business hours (9:30am to 4:00pm) five days a week except public holidays and periods when the business is closed. Collections are organised first thing in the morning. Times for deliveries and collections can sometimes be arranged outside these times depending upon the situation and availability of the furniture movers.
